Happilyraw is designed to run without generating private profit, thus freeing ever greater funds for investment to support others in projects both at home in the UK and abroad. By purchasing your products through Happilyraw, you will be directly supporting this evolving potential.
Commencing Oct 2011, Happilyraw now contributes 1% of all product sales to healthcare and life improving projects in the UK and we are developing our collaborative support of a special Non-Governmental Organisation in Southern India, which our founder has professionally supported for over a decade.
The funds raised will be split 75% (India) : 25% (UK).
Our bold goal is to move towards 10% of product sales contribution within 5 years and to formalise a charitable structure, but we have to start somewhere.... 1% may sound modest but over the last couple of months YOU have already raised well over £100 and we still have 9 months of our business year left!!
This special project in Southern India driven for decades by a local man with immense dedication to support his own people towards a better way of life, has demonstrated substantial commitment to providing long term solutions for rural poverty, clean water provision, valuable healthcare access, safe money management and life-skills courses. Happilyraw has the exciting potential to wholeheartly enhance the reach and impact of these projects.
As well as contributing funds to our partners in Southern India, we have supported projects at home in the UK over the last couple of years since Happilyraw began...
... This year YOU purchased a place at a Crisis Shelter for Christmas providing a hot meal, companionship, health check, housing advice, access to learn skills and offer hope to someone without a home ... Last year YOU supported Vitalise to facilitate physically challenged adults to enjoy holidays.
Happilyraw is leaping into 2012 with enthusiasm to pursue our increasing ability to support each and every customer to directly contribute to these exciting projects, and we will enjoy sharing regular updates in our newsletters.
