We're busy preparing for our online open weekend, commencing early on Thursday 16th until midnight Monday 20th May 2013

We'd like to update you about how the UK healthcare project funds, which you raised through your purchases during our last financial year, have been donated.

YOU helped to raise a fantastic £528.93 to support others as we contribute 1% of every order value (and 5% on the 5th day of each month) to a special fund that supports healthcare projects in Southern India & the UK. Every single penny of this fund goes to our chosen charties.

The proportion of this fund (75% = £395.77) for the healthcare project in rural Southern India will be delivered personally by Jenny, creator of Happilyraw, when she visits next year. She has a long term professional supportive relationship with this project, ensuring that ALL the money is placed for best use. See our About Us page for more details...

The UK healthcare projects that have benefited from the funds (25% = £132.23) are as follows:

• AQUABOX - £50 - Providing family sized water filter units and essential welfare items in disaster situations
• CANCERACTIVE - £40 - Independent charity providing education and information about complementary and alternative health support and prevention advice
• MERLIN'S MAGIC WAND - £42.23 - Happilyraw is sponsoring a special customer to complete the three peaks challenge in 24hrs to raise funds for this organisation that provides magical experiences for those who are seriously, disadvantaged or disabled - we wish her strength and success in her endeavour!!

This year, YOU have already raised £124.31 for the Happilyraw healthcare projects fund, even though we have had part-time opening hours, so this online open weekend will add to this total as we contribute 1% of every £1 spent at Happilyraw

The idea of supporting others through your purchases has always been at the heart of Happilyraw, as we run the business without personal profit, so we can use our donations to support others through your purchases.
