Spotlight on Nutritious Foods

Here at Happilyraw, we offer a fantastic range of carefully selected foods to compliment a natural and healthy, wholefood diet.

Aloe Vera and Aloe Ferox Juice has been used for thousands of years for its healing properties. It is rich in naturally occuring enzymes, essential healthy sugars, iron and calcium. Aloe supports the immune system and soothes digestive function. You can take it in the morning or blend in with a fresh juice.

Organic, dried and sliced mushrooms provide a great source of vegetable protein. Simply rehydrate and add to rice, salad or vegetable dishes. Shelled hemp seeds are an excellent source of the essential fatty acids, omega 3, omega 6 and omega 9 as well as a valuable, easily digestible protein. They can simply be sprinkled over food, added to desserts or smoothies and even whizzed up in the blender to make fresh hemp milk.

High quality, cold-pressed oil like Hemp Oil, can be used to create delicious desserts, added to smoothies or simply drizzled over salads. Organic Exra Virgin Coconut Oil is a healthy saturated fat, great as an alternative for butter or margarine and stable for use in cooking. It can help maintain a strong immune system and sustained energy levels. It is believed to support healthy intestinal flora, improve digestion and nutrient absorption due to its natural anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. Udo's Choice Ultimate Oil is an expertly blended ratio source of omega's 3, 6 and 9.

Manuka Honey is made by the bees who feed on the flowers of the Manuka Bush (also known as the 'Tea Tree'). It is traditionally prized for its medicinal qualities, soothing deep rustic flavours and earthy aromas. We love to use Manuka Honey to sweeten drinks and smoothies. It is very tasty when combined with lemon and ginger in a warm drink, mmm! We only stock honey that has not been heat treated, so retaining the natural goodness of the hive.

Unrefined Coarse Ground Sea Salt is pure and natural, nutritionally intact and collected from source, just as 'Mother Nature' intended. It is an authentic, unrefined, pale grey, Celtic style salt with a more superior taste, which may be of benefit to your health. It is unrefined, unbleached and has not been processed in any way. It is more nutritious than table salt, retaining a full spectrum of trace minerals, essential for every function in your body in the proper balance. Did you know that we are all made up of a large percentage of sea water?? Black Salt is high in sulphur compounds that can aid detoxification and with a full mineral profile, it is delicious on meals of all types.

This silica rich clay contains a full spectrum of minerals and a high silica content. The annual use of the soil revitalizer also supports the return of nutrient and mineral rich soils in which to grow your fruit and vegetables next year.

...support healthy hormones by using maca powder, coconut oil, some of our many herbs and herb powders, sea salt and cold-pressed oils, krill oil or vegan DHA and probiotics.
